Daimler’s Smart brand has bombed in the US market since its introduction in 2008. Seeing the ForTwo dicing with big-foot pickups and Hummer limos in Vegas, it’s easy to see why something has been lost in translation.
The new BMW 6 Series Convertible gets a little less camouflage
The replacement for the BMW 6 Series has been running around the world in a swirl of black and white camouflage for so long it will need a facelift before it launches. But the camouflage is gradually being reduced as the launch gets closer – perhaps even at Paris this year. We’ve had the speculation this last week that the new 6 series is the production version of the Gran Coupe Concept from BMW.
Honda has run into a few problems with its new-vehicle introductions of late. The current Accord was a bit too large in this era of downsizing, the Accord Crosstour was knocked for its styling, and the Insight hybrid suffered disappointing sales. Things may have changed, though.
